The Micro DIC system is dedicated to tests at small scales to understand microscopic material deformation. A complete system combines two cameras with a dedicated and fully integrated stereo microscope, focussed LED spotlights, and micro calibration plates for use with our optimized calibration routine for microscope configurations. The system is mounted onto a motorized, high precise working X, Y, Z stage. The control of all system components and the evaluation of the data is done with the DaVis software package.
